Vintage ‘New Forest’ trinket dish

This distinctive oval ceramic trinket dish was handmade and decorated at the New Forest Pottery studio. Pieces with this maker’s mark were produced in Hampshire, likely around the 1960s, by an unknown potter who may have been connected to Godshill Pottery.

The dish is in excellent vintage condition, making it a wonderful gift or collector’s piece. It has a concave form with a glossy glaze, decorated with impressed blackberry fruits and leaves, highlighted through the sgraffito technique.
